H*tler’s tasters
H*tler’s Tasters, written by Michelle Kholos Brooks, directed by Sarah Norris, and featuring an all-female identifying team, is a unique theatrical event that is a fictional retelling of a largely unknown story of the young German women conscripted to taste Adolf Hitler’s food for poison. This dark comedy explores the way girls navigate sexuality, friendship, and patriotism during the Third Reich. Using an anachronistic retelling of an historical footnote, H*tler’s Tasters considers what girls discuss as they wait to see if they will survive another meal.

INMATE DOT COM
SHACKLED by circumstance since birth
SHACKLED by a systemic fight for self-preservation
SHACKLED by an unjust and corrupt legal system
SHACKLED by release to closed doors. . . until
ONE EX-CON SAYS “NO MORE” AND CHANGES THE FUTURE
INMATE DOT COM is a docu-drama portraying the lives of the inner city’s most unfortunate while attempting to navigate the plights that landed them in prison. Hector Guadalupe, founder of A SECOND U, a CNN Hero finalist and a renowned physical trainer, created a way out… Rehabilitation, job training and careers as personal trainers.
The gripping, real-life stories of inmates provide audiences the experience of injustice, corruption, and the inhumanity of our prison system. And, hope from one man.
INMATE DOT COM is compelling theater and a critical call to action.

WAR WORDS
Thank you for joining us for our Veteran’s Week presentation of WAR WORDS. We know from the many responses we received, how very moved our audiences were. And, most important, how much we, as civilians, learned about those who served, bridging the gap between veterans and civilians.
We must bring WAR WORDS to the stage as a full production and cannot do that without your support.
Thank you for joining us, and thank you for your generous support.
NewYorkRep West
NewYorkRepWest enables us to bring the mission of NewYorkRep to Los Angeles audiences. We have already established relationships with many LA based theatre companies for productions, readings and workshops as we build a presence on the West Coast. This initiative supports the LA theatre community by providing more opportunities for local playwrights, actors, directors, designers and other theater professionals.
LA audiences will have the opportunity to see our shows in their city and will be inspired to see our work in NY when they come East. Likewise, NY audiences familiar with the quality of our work will be drawn to see in LA productions building a strong bicoastal brand.
THE LEGEND OF LAKE RONKONKOMA: THE LADY OF THE LAKE
“While sheltering in place at my childhood home in Ronkonkoma during 2020, I began to investigate the legend of the “Lady of the Lake”. During my research I was unable to find information that supported it as truth other than what has been recorded for the last 200 years and believed by family, friends, and my local community. Today, the town of Ronkonkoma is decorated with symbols and references of “the Princess”. The community believes a variety of versions referencing the story as a curse and/or legend. The legend says that one of the tribal Chiefs forbade his daughter from being with her lover, who was from another tribe. Different stories say that the two lovers committed a “Romeo and Juliet” style suicide, while others say she took her own life in mourning. As a result, her sorrowful spirit kills one man every year. I believe this to be a misconstrued western version of the stereotypical ideas we tend to associate with indigenous people. As a filmmaker, I’ve always wanted to share my beautiful memories growing up in Ronkonkoma. In line with my interest in identity formation and personal experience with grief’s effect on the family, I wrote the psychological thriller, The Legend of Ronkonkoma: The Lady of the Lake. The main character, Jamie Schultz, happens to have lineage that is traceable to the original people of the lake. As a filmmaker I strive to create entertaining stories that also bring awareness and create conversation surrounding social injustices. I combined the supernatural component with a family suffering from a tragic loss while being haunted by this “legend”. I am challenging the racial injustices that exist in our own backyard and challenging the truths that hide behind the legend.”
